Chopstick rests by Keiichiro Yamada, molded from real leaves and twigs so that the fine patterns and relief look lifelike. The set has ginkgo, maple and cherry leaves plus I-type and Y-type branches. The white bisque set suits the table in any season, and the colored set is tinted in leaf colors. Comes in a dedicated box. Ceramic Japan is a design-led maker based in Seto, Aichi, working with Japanese designers since 1973.
