Gohobi Kintsugi Repair Service

At Gohobi, we believe every crack has a story. Our traditional Japanese Kintsugi repair service celebrates the art of imperfection—transforming cherished ceramic pieces into one-of-a-kind treasures.

What is Kintsugi?

Kintsugi (金繕) is the centuries-old Japanese art of repairing broken pottery using lacquer mixed with gold, silver, or platinum. Rather than hiding damage, it highlights it—embracing imperfection as part of an object’s unique history. Kintsugi isn’t just repair; it’s a philosophy of resilience and renewal.

Our Repair Services

  • Visible Kintsugi: Decorative gold or silver seams to highlight the breakage.
  • Invisible Repair: Subtle restoration with minimal visible marks.
  • Functional Repair: Structural repair for practical use (food-safe!).

We repair tea cups, bowls, plates, vases, teapots and more – whether ceramic, porcelain or pottery.
