HereThe | A Community Art Project by Gohobi

Tea as a beginning. Art as a bridge. Community as the heart.

What is HereThe?

HereThe is a community art project initiated by Gohobi.
It’s a space where tea, storytelling, and artistic expression come together—giving voice to migrant, queer, neurodiverse, and otherwise underrepresented creators.

Rooted in East Asian tea culture and guided by a spirit of slowness and care, HereThe invites people to reconnect—with themselves, with others, and with the stories we carry.

What We Do

Seasonal Tea Boxes
Each box is a curated sensory experience—featuring loose leaf tea, artist-designed objects, and printed reflections.
Every edition explores a theme, such as neurodiversity, memory, or the poetry of everyday life.

Art Collaborations
We co-create with emerging artists from diverse backgrounds, crafting functional art pieces and visual storytelling rooted in tea rituals.

Community Events & Workshops
From tea-dyeing to sensory drawing, we host small-scale, inclusive gatherings that honour shared experience, slow making, and quiet joy.

Why We Exist

We believe that tea is more than a drink—it’s a language. One that holds space for emotion, memory, culture, and connection.

HereThe exists to share that language through art and to create tangible opportunities for underrepresented creatives.

All profits go toward supporting our artists, materials, and community-based programming.
