Gohobi Wood-Fired Blue & White Double Lion Folded-Rim Ceramic Plate

A characterful blue and white ceramic plate featuring the traditional Chinese motif of double lions playing with a brocade ball, surrounded by flowing seawater patterns.

Finished through a firewood-firing process, the piece carries subtle variations in tone, surface and firing marks that give each plate its own individual character. The broad folded rim frames the central decoration beautifully, while the shallow profile makes it suitable for serving small dishes, fruit, sweets or simply displaying as a decorative object.

The lively lion motif is a long-standing decorative subject in Chinese art, bringing a sense of movement and traditional character to the piece.
